Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 100 g flour
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
3. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the sugar. Mix well.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, vanilla sugar, and salt into the batter. Gently fold until all ingredients are combined.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes. The cake is done when it has risen and a shiny crust forms on top.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with whipped cream.
