A delicious recipe for silakka (herring) patties combined with meetvurst (a type of sausage), bringing flavor and texture to every bite. Preparation time is about 45 minutes, and this recipe serves approximately 4 people.Ingredients:
- 600 g silakka fillets
- 150 g meetvurst
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 dl ketchup
- 1 pickle
- 1.5 dl dill, chopped
- 2 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 dl flour
- Black pepper, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Butter, for frying
Instructions:
1. Season the silakka fillets with black pepper and salt. Spread ketchup on top of the fillets.
2. Sauté the chopped onions in butter in a pan until they are soft.
3. Finely chop the meetvurst and pickle, then add them to the sautéed onions. Cook for a few more minutes.
4. Combine the chopped ingredients with dill, breadcrumbs, and flour.
5. Shape the mixture into patties and fry them in butter in the pan until golden brown on both sides.
6. Serve warm, for example, with potatoes or salad.
