Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., fusilli or penne)
- 400 g chicken breast fillets
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
3. Cut the chicken breast fillets into strips.
4. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
5. Add the chicken strips to the pan and cook until they are golden brown and cooked through.
6. Pour the cooking cream into the pan and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
7. Add the cooked pasta and grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Mix thoroughly.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
9. Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil.
