A delicious pesto bread that is perfect as a snack or a light meal. This treat is easy to make and will leave you wanting more!
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 2-4 servings

Ingredients:

- 1 long baguette or ciabatta
- 100 g pesto
- 150 g mozzarella cheese
- 1 tomato
- Fresh basil leaves
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Cut the baguette or ciabatta in half lengthwise.
2. Spread the pesto evenly over the cut side of the bread.
3. Slice the mozzarella cheese and arrange the slices on top of the pesto.
4. Slice the tomato and layer the slices on top of the mozzarella.
5. Sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the top.
6. Drizzle a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
7. Place the bread in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 5-7 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the bread is golden.
8. Remove from the oven and enjoy warm!
