- Salt
- Black pepper
- Lemon slices
- Fresh dill
- Smoking wood (e.g., alder or apple wood)
Instructions:
1. Clean the whitefish thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels.
2. Rub salt and black pepper inside and outside the fish to taste.
3. Place a few lemon slices and fresh dill inside each fish.
4. Prepare your smoker and preheat it.
5. Place the fish in the smoker and smoke for about 20-30 minutes until the fish is cooked through and has a nice smoky flavor.
6. Serve the smoked fish warm, accompanied by potatoes and salad.
