Ingredients:
- 125 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 75 g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 150 g chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
2. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until smooth.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
7. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
8. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
