Delicious Christmas gingerbread cookies that are easy to make from ready-made dough. A perfect treat to get into the holiday spirit!Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 20-30 cookies
Ingredients:
- 500 g ready-made gingerbread dough
- 100 ml sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg (for brushing)
- Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. Take the gingerbread dough out and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before baking.
3. Roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thickness on a floured surface.
4. Cut out shapes from the dough using cookie cutters.
5. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Brush the surface of the cookies with beaten egg.
7. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes, until the cookies are beautifully golden brown.
8. Allow to cool and decorate with powdered sugar.
