This delicious rye bread is easy to make at home. It’s perfect for breakfast or as a snack.
Preparation Time: 2 hours
Serving Size: 1 loaf
Ingredients:
- 500 g rye flour
- 200 g wheat flour
- 10 g salt
- 10 g sugar
- 25 g fresh yeast
- 700 ml water
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
Instructions:
1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water.
2. Add the salt, sugar, and canola oil to the mixture.
3. Combine the rye and wheat flours together.
4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the liquid and knead the dough for about 10 minutes.
5. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
6. Knead the dough again and shape it into a loaf.
7. Place the loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
8. Bake in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 40-45 minutes, until the bread is beautifully brown.
