Delicious and nutritious rye bread topped with fresh vendace, perfect for healthy snacks or a light meal. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 breads
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of rye bread
- 200 g fresh vendace
- 1 dl fresh herbs (e.g., dill, parsley)
- 1 dl sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon juice (optional)
Instructions:
1. Clean the vendace thoroughly and remove any bones.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the vendace for about 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked and golden brown.
3. Meanwhile, prepare the rye bread slices. You can lightly toast them if desired.
4. In a bowl, mix the sour cream with chopped herbs, salt, pepper, and lemon juice if using.
5. Spread the herb sour cream mixture over the rye bread.
6. Place the cooked vendace on top of the bread and garnish with additional fresh herbs.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
