A delicious accompaniment perfect for game and meat dishes, or as a dessert with vanilla. This recipe yields about 2 liters of jelly.

Serving Size: 2 liters

Ingredients:

- 2 liters rowan berries
- 500 ml water
- Jelly sugar (according to package instructions)

Instructions:

1. Rinse the rowan berries thoroughly and remove any stems.
2. In a pot, heat 500 ml of water until it reaches a gentle simmer and add the rowan berries.
3. Cook the berries for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into another container, allowing the juice to drip without pressing the berries.
5. Once all the juice has drained, weigh the liquid to determine how much jelly sugar to add.
6. Add jelly sugar according to the package instructions and bring the juice to a boil, cooking until it reaches a jelly-like consistency.
7. Pour the finished jelly into clean jars and allow it to cool.
