Creamy Pasta Bake

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g. penne or fusilli)
- 200 g sour cream
- 1 dl cream
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 200 g chicken fillet
- 1 bell pepper
- 100 g mushrooms
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 dl grated cheese
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Cut the chicken fillet into bite-sized pieces and dice the bell pepper. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat a frying pan and add a little oil. Sauté the onion and garlic for a few minutes.
4. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they are fully cooked.
5. Add the bell pepper and mushrooms to the pan and cook for a few more minutes.
6. Stir in the sour cream, cream, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Let the mixture simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
7. Combine the pasta with the sauce and mix well.
8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, sprinkle the grated cheese on top, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
9. Serve warm and enjoy!
