Ingredients:
- 300 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms or chanterelles)
- 1 large onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp butter
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 ml vegetable or chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Clean and slice the mushrooms. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
2. Heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
3. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are golden brown and the liquid has evaporated.
4. Pour in the cream and broth, and let the sauce simmer over low heat for about 5-7 minutes until it thickens slightly.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
6. Serve the sauce warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
