A delicious and creative pizza pocket filled with flavorful meatballs. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4 people
Ingredients:
- 4 pizza dough sheets- 400 g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 dl water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil, chopped
- Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a pan and add the chopped onion. Sauté until soft.2. Add the crushed garlic and ground beef. Cook until the meat is browned.
3. Stir in the crushed tomatoes and water. Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes.
4. Mix in the chopped basil and remove the pan from heat.
5. Roll out the pizza dough sheets thin. Cut them into triangles and create a corner for filling.
6. Place the meat mixture in the center of each pizza pocket and fold the dough to form a pocket.
7. Bake the trapizzinos at 220 °C for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
8. Serve warm with grated Parmesan cheese.
