A classic dish featuring savory meatballs paired with creamy mashed potatoes. Preparation Time: 1 hour

Ingredients for Meatballs:
- 1 kg ground beef (and/or venison)
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 packets French onion soup seasoning mix
- Salt and pepper to taste
Ingredients for Mashed Potatoes:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 1 dl milk
- 50 g butter
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. For the Meatballs:
- In a bowl, mix together the ground meat, sour cream, breadcrumbs, eggs, and French onion soup seasoning.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Shape the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs at 200°C (392°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until cooked through.
2. For the Mashed Potatoes:
- Peel and chop the potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender (about 15-20 minutes).
- Drain the potatoes and mash them.
- Add the milk and butter while mashing until smooth.
- Season with salt to taste.
3. Serve the meatballs with the mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
