These Asian meatballs bring a new flavor to traditional meatballs. They are delicious and easy to prepare, perfect for a weekday meal. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g ground meat (beef or chicken) - 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 dl milk
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 dl fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and milk, and let sit for about 5 minutes to soak. 2. Add ground meat, crushed garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, grated ginger, sesame seeds, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper to the soaked breadcrumb mixture.
3. Shape the mixture into meatballs about 2-3 cm in size.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the meatballs until golden brown on all sides, about 10-15 minutes.
5. Serve the meatballs with rice or noodles.
