Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into strips about 1 cm thick. 2. Soak the potato strips in cold water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
3. Dry the potatoes thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
4. Heat the oil in a deep pot or fryer to about 180°C (356°F).
5. Fry the potatoes in small batches for about 5-7 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy.
