This dish features tender beef tongue coated in a crispy breadcrumb crust, perfect as an appetizer or main course.
Ingredients:
- Cooked beef tongue
- 1 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1.5 dl breadcrumbs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Butter for frying
Instructions:
1. Slice the cooked beef tongue into thin pieces starting from the tip.
2. Season the flour with salt and black pepper.
3. Dip the tongue slices first in the seasoned flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat them with breadcrumbs.
4. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and fry the slices until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
5. Remove the fried slices and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
6. Serve warm, ideally with potatoes or a fresh salad.
