Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or spaghetti) - 400 g chicken breast fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 150 g broccoli, chopped
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. Cut the chicken breast into strips and season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
4. In the same pan, add the chopped onion and crushed garlic. Sauté until softened.
5. Add the diced bell pepper and broccoli to the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
6. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes.
7. Add the cooked pasta and the cooked chicken to the sauce. Stir until all ingredients are combined.
8. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
9. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
