Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli) - 400 g chicken breast fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a small amount of the cooking water. 2. Cut the chicken breast into strips and season with chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté for a few minutes until softened.
4. Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
5. Add the diced bell pepper and sauté for an additional few minutes.
6. Pour the cream into the skillet and mix well. Allow the mixture to heat up.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and combine all ingredients thoroughly. If needed, add a bit of reserved cooking water to prevent the pasta from being too dry.
8. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well incorporated.
9. Serve the dishes garnished with fresh basil.
