Quorn Vegetable Sauce for Pasta

A delicious and hearty vegetarian sauce made with Quorn and fresh vegetables, perfect for pasta. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g Quorn mince
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 g mushrooms
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 stalks celery
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 200 g cooking crème
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh herbs (such as parsley or basil)
Instructions:
1. Thaw the Quorn mince.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Clean and chop the mushrooms.
4. Rinse and halve the bell pepper, remove the stem and seeds, then slice or dice it.
5. Rinse and finely chop the celery.
6. Heat the oil in a pot and add the onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Sauté until the onion is translucent and the mushrooms have released their moisture.
7. Add the Quorn mince and all the chopped vegetables. Cook for a few minutes.
8. Stir in the cooking crème and bring the sauce to a boil.
9. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
10. Finish the sauce with fresh herbs.
11. Serve the sauce over cooked pasta.
