A delicious vegetarian dish that combines Quorn fillets, mushrooms, and fennel in a flavorful Riesling sauce. Perfect for a meal that will make your taste buds dance! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6
Ingredients:
- 2 small onions - 4 garlic cloves
- 200 g brown mushrooms
- 1 small fennel bulb
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 pack Quorn fillets (312 g)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 500 ml Riesling or other dry/semi-dry white wine
- 250 ml oat cream
- Salt and black pepper
- Fresh tarragon, finely chopped
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the onions and garlic. 2. Slice the mushrooms and fennel.
3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and add the onions and garlic. Sauté until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms and fennel, and cook for a few minutes.
5. Stir in the Quorn fillets and smoked paprika, mixing well.
6. Pour the Riesling into the pan and let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
7. Add the oat cream, salt, pepper, and chopped tarragon. Allow to simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
8. Serve warm with cooked rice.
