Ingredients:
- 300 g chicken breast fillets - 250 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 bell pepper (e.g., red or yellow)
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 100 ml chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside. 2. Chop the onion, garlic, and bell pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
4. Add the chicken breast fillets to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Add the bell pepper to the skillet and cook for a few more minutes.
6. Pour the cooking cream and chicken broth into the skillet, mix well, and let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat the pasta with the creamy sauce.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
