A creamy and delicious rice porridge that has been simmered to perfection. This retro treat is a great breakfast or snack.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup arborio rice
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
- Cinnamon and sugar for serving
Instructions:
1. Rinse the arborio rice under cold water in a sieve.
2. Pour the rice into a saucepan and add the milk and salt.
3. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring regularly until it begins to boil.
4. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let the porridge simmer on low for about 40-60 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom.
5. When the rice is soft and the porridge has reached your desired consistency, stir in the cream and sugar. Mix well.
6. Serve warm topped with cinnamon and sugar.
