A delicious and nutritious chia pudding with apple for a healthy breakfast.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes (plus 2 hours chilling)
Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 dl almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
- 1 dl chia seeds
- 1 apple, diced
- 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
- Nuts or seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the almond milk, chia seeds, honey, cinnamon, and salt.
2. Allow the mixture to sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight, so that the chia seeds can swell.
3. Stir the pudding once or twice during chilling.
4. After chilling, add the diced apple to the pudding and mix well.
5. Serve the pudding in bowls and garnish with nuts or seeds, if desired.
