This delightful spiced apple cake is a perfect treat for fall, combining the warmth of spices with the sweetness of apples.
Ingredients:
- 4½ dl all-purpose flour
- 3 dl brown sugar or dark granulated sugar
- 1½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp cloves
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 tbsp cardamom
- 3 dl apple sauce
- 2 dl milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 dl oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
2. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and spices together.
3. Add the apple sauce, milk, eggs, and oil to the mixture. Stir well until the batter is smooth.
4. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
5. Bake in the oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the cake is cooked through (test with a toothpick).
6. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
