Serving Size: 12 muffins
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. Stir in the milk and vanilla sugar until smooth.
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
6. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix!
7. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin tin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
