Flattie is a delicious and easily prepared cake that has received much praise at coffee tables. You can try using other juices instead of apple juice according to your taste.Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar - 1 cup apple juice (or any other juice)
- 1 cup milk
- 7 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (375°F for convection ovens).2. In a bowl, mix together sugar, apple juice, milk, and melted butter.
3. Add in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Stir until a smooth batter forms.
4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
5. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the batter is cooked through.
6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
