Delicious cinnamon rolls filled with sweet nougat, perfect for celebrating National Cinnamon Roll Day.
Preparation Time: 2 hours (not including rising time)
Serving Size: About 12 rolls

Ingredients:

- 5 dl milk
- 50 g fresh yeast
- 1 dl sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1 dl butter, melted
- 12 dl all-purpose flour
Filling:
- 100 g butter, at room temperature
- 1 dl cane sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 100 g Wiener nougat crush

Instructions:

1. Warm the milk until it is lukewarm and dissolve the fresh yeast in it.
2. Add sugar, salt, cardamom, and melted butter. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour until the dough is soft and non-sticky.
4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth.
5. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours.
6. Prepare the filling by mixing butter, cane sugar, cinnamon, and Wiener nougat crush.
7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly over it.
8. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut it into 2-3 cm thick slices.
9. Place the slices in baking pans and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
10. Bake at 200°C (fan oven) for about 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are beautifully golden brown.
11. Allow to cool before serving.
