Ingredients:
- 150 g unsalted soft butter
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 100 ml milk
- 100 g wiener nougat (or other chocolate), chopped
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a muffin tin with muffin liners.
2. In a bowl, cream together the soft butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.
5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until smooth.
6. Gently fold in the chopped wiener nougat into the batter.
7. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin liners, filling them about 2/3 full.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
