Description: A delicious homemade nougat with a mix of nuts and marshmallows. Preparation Time: 30 minutes (plus 2 hours cooling)
Serving Size: 12 pieces
Ingredients:
- 200 g sugar
- 100 g honey
- 100 ml cream
- 200 g nuts (e.g., hazelnuts or almonds)
- 100 g marshmallows
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Prepare the pan: Line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a saucepan, heat the sugar, honey, and cream over low heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
3. Increase the heat and boil the mixture for about 5-10 minutes, until it turns a light golden brown color.
4. Add the nuts, marshmallows, vanilla sugar, and salt to the mixture. Stir well to combine.
5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the surface with a spatula.
6. Allow the nougat to cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours.
7. Once cooled, cut the nougat into pieces and enjoy!
