A delicious nougat cake slice perfect for summer celebrations or weekend indulgence. Preparation Time: 30 minutes + cooling time
Serving Size: 12 slices
Ingredients:
- 200 g digestive biscuits
- 100 g butter
- 300 g nougat
- 150 g cream
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 50 g white chocolate
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs and melt the butter. Mix the biscuit crumbs and melted butter together.
2. Press the biscuit mixture evenly into the bottom of a 20x20 cm baking dish lined with parchment paper. Place in the refrigerator to set.
3. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the nougat and cream until the mixture is smooth. Stir in the vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt.
4. Pour the nougat mixture over the biscuit base and smooth the surface.
5. Melt the dark and white chocolates separately. Pour the dark chocolate over the nougat layer and drizzle with the white chocolate for decoration.
6. Allow the cake to cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
7. Cut into slices and enjoy!
