Ingredients

- 2 dl sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 dl sugar-cinnamon mixture
- 1 dl skimmed milk powder
- 100 g margarine or butter
- 1 kg all-purpose flour (13-15 dl)
- 50 g yeast
- 1 tbsp cardamom
- 5 dl water

Instructions

1. Dissolve the milk powder and yeast in warm water.
2. Add sugar, salt, cardamom, and some of the flour to the mixture. Mix until it forms a smooth dough.
3. Gradually add the remaining flour and knead the dough until it is elastic.
4. Incorporate the softened margarine or butter and knead for a short time.
5. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
6. Roll out the risen dough into a flat sheet and spread the sugar-cinnamon mixture on top.
7. Roll the dough sheet tightly and cut it into pieces.
8. Place the pieces on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
9. Bake at 225°C (437°F) for about 10-15 minutes, until the buns are beautifully golden brown.
10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
