Ingredients:

- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 250 g fresh mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Rinse the tomatoes and slice them into rounds.
2. Slice the mozzarella cheese into rounds as well.
3. Alternate layering the tomato and mozzarella slices on a serving plate.
4. Sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the layered slices.
5. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle the dressing over the salad.
6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
