A fresh and spicy tomato chili salsa that is perfect as a side dish or dip.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 1 red chili
- 1 small red onion
- 1 garlic clove
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Wash the tomatoes and dice them into small cubes.
2. Remove the seeds from the chili and finely chop it.
3. Peel and finely chop the red onion and garlic clove.
4. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
5. Add the lime juice and chopped cilantro.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Let the salsa sit in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving.
