This delicious pico de gallo salsa adds flavor to grilled chicken and works wonderfully with tortillas or nachos.
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe tomatoes- 1 small red onion
- 1-2 fresh jalapeño peppers (to taste)
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Peel and finely dice the red onion.2. Remove the seeds from the jalapeño peppers and chop them finely.
3. Cube the tomatoes and place them in a bowl.
4. Add the diced red onion and jalapeño to the tomatoes.
5. Chop the cilantro and mix it in with the other ingredients.
6. Squeeze the lime juice into the bowl and season with salt.
7. Stir all the ingredients well and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving.
