Ingredients:
- 400 g ground beef (or chicken) - 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 dl water
- 8 taco shells
- 1 dl shredded cheese
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 dl lettuce, chopped
- 0.5 dl salsa
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions:
1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Sauté the onion for about 2-3 minutes. 2. Add the crushed garlic and continue cooking for another minute.
3. Add the ground meat to the skillet and brown it well.
4. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Mix well and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
5. Warm the taco shells according to the package instructions.
6. Fill the warmed taco shells with the meat mixture, shredded cheese, tomato, avocado, lettuce, and salsa.
7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
