Delicious and flavorful tacos, perfect for a welcome home meal. Easy to prepare and guaranteed to bring a smile! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g ground beef (or chicken) - 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 dl water
- 8 taco shells
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 100 g grated cheese
- 1 dl Turkish yogurt or sour cream
- Lettuce (e.g., romaine or iceberg)
- 1 lime, sliced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the finely chopped onion. Sauté until the onion is soft. 2. Add the crushed garlic and ground meat to the pan. Brown the meat thoroughly.
3. Add the taco seasoning and water. Mix well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the liquid has evaporated.
4. Warm the taco shells separately in a frying pan or microwave.
5. Fill each taco shell with the ground meat mixture.
6. Top the tacos with diced tomato, sliced avocado, grated cheese, yogurt, and lettuce.
7. Serve with lime slices on the side.
