Ingredients:
- 1 dl rolled oats- 2 dl water or milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 1 tbsp nuts or seeds
- Cinnamon to taste
- Berries (e.g., blueberries or strawberries) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Bring water or milk to a boil in a saucepan and add salt.2. Stir in the rolled oats into the boiling liquid and mix well.
3. Cook on low heat for about 5 minutes, until the oatmeal thickens and the oats are soft.
4. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the honey or maple syrup.
5. Spoon the oatmeal into bowls and top with banana slices, nuts, cinnamon, and berries.
6. Enjoy warm!
