A fresh salsa that combines vibrant flavors and is the perfect accompaniment to nachos or other Mexican dishes. Preparation time is just 15 minutes, and you’ll get a large bowl of delicious salsa. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 people
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe tomatoes- 1 medium red onion
- 1-2 fresh chilies (to taste)
- A handful of fresh cilantro
- 1 lime (juiced)
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a bowl.2. Peel and finely chop the red onion.
3. Halve the chilies and remove the seeds if you prefer less heat. Chop the chilies into small pieces.
4. Chop the cilantro and add it to the bowl.
5. Squeeze the lime juice over the ingredients and mix well.
6. Season with salt to taste and stir again.
7. Allow the salsa to sit in the refrigerator for a bit before serving to let the flavors meld together.
