A delicious seven-layer dip that's perfect for picnics or gatherings. It layers beautifully in a jar and offers flavors for everyone. Preparation time is about 20 minutes, and it serves 4-6.
Ingredients:
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 packet taco seasoning (optional)
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup pico de gallo or store-bought salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 diced tomatoes
- ½ cup sliced green onions
- ½ cup sliced olives
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions:
1. If using, mix the taco seasoning into the refried beans.
2. Prepare the pico de gallo and guacamole.
3. Start layering the dip in jars:
- Layer 1: Refried beans
- Layer 2: Sour cream
- Layer 3: Guacamole
- Layer 4: Salsa or pico de gallo (drain excess liquid!)
- Layer 5: Shredded cheddar cheese
- Layer 6: Diced tomatoes
- Layer 7: Sliced green onions and olives
4. Serve with tortilla chips.
