Delicious tortilla wraps filled with meat, chicken, or cheese, and fried until crispy. This recipe brings the flavors of Mexico straight to your home!

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 300 g ground beef (or chicken)
- 1 dl shredded cheese (e.g. cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 dl salsa
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
2. Brown the ground meat in the pan, seasoning with salt, black pepper, and paprika powder. Drain excess fat.
3. Add salsa to the meat mixture and stir well. Remove from heat.
4. Warm the tortillas slightly in a frying pan or microwave until flexible.
5. Place about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture in the center of each tortilla and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
6. Roll the tortillas tightly and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
7. Fry the taquitots in hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
8. Place the taquitots on paper towels to drain excess oil and serve warm.
