Delicious and soft pastries that are easy to make. Let the dough rise overnight for fresh buns at breakfast. Preparation Time: 15 minutes + 1 night rising
Serving Size: About 12 buns
Ingredients:
- 5 dl milk
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 dl melted butter
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cardamom
- 2 packets dry yeast
- About 12 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl cinnamon
- 1 dl sugar (for filling)
- 1 dl melted butter (for filling)
Instructions:
1. Warm the milk until it is lukewarm, then mix in the sugar, melted butter, salt, and cardamom.
2. Add the dry yeast and mix well.
3. Gradually add all-purpose flour until the dough is soft but not sticky.
4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise overnight at room temperature.
5. Once the dough has risen, roll it out to about 1 cm thick.
6. Spread melted butter over the surface, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut it into 3 cm thick slices.
8. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
9. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for about 15-20 minutes, until the buns are golden brown.
