Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until the mixture is light and fluffy.
4. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the egg-sugar mixture and mix well.
5. Sift in the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gently fold the mixture together.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream.
