A fiery salsa that will bring the heat to any dish! Perfect as a dip or a sauce for grilled foods. Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 medium tomatoes- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 small red onion
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
- 1-2 fresh chilies (or more for extra heat)
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions:
1. Chop the tomatoes, bell pepper, red onion, and garlic into small pieces.2. Remove the seeds from the chilies if you want less heat, then finely chop them.
3. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
4. Add lime juice and salt, mixing well.
5. Let the salsa marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
6. Serve as a dip or sauce with nachos or grilled dishes.
