A spicy and flavorful salsa perfect for tacos! Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 2 red chilies
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cup water
- A pinch of salt
- (Optional: crushed dried chilies for extra heat)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
2. Roast the tomatoes, chilies, onion, and garlic in the oven for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally.
3. Allow the roasted ingredients to cool.
4. Transfer the cooled ingredients, water, and salt to a food processor.
5. Blend the mixture until smooth.
6. If desired, add crushed dried chilies before blending for extra spice.
7. Serve the salsa brava as a filling for tacos.
