Fresh salsa is an easy and delicious addition to many dishes. You can prepare this salsa with just a few ingredients and enjoy it with tortillas or grilled foods.

Serving Size: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 1 small red onion
- 1-2 garlic cloves
- 1-2 fresh chili peppers (to taste)
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Peel and finely chop the red onion and garlic cloves.
2. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes, removing the seeds if you prefer less liquid.
3. Chop the chili peppers, remembering to wear gloves if you don't want the heat on your fingers.
4. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
5. Squeeze the lime juice into the mixture and add the chopped cilantro.
6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
7. Allow the salsa to chill in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
