Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (such as penne or fusilli)
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 250 g broccoli
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Add the broccoli to the pasta during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain the pasta and broccoli.
2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add diced chicken breast and cook until golden and cooked through. Season with salt and black pepper.
3. Add crushed garlic to the pan and sauté for an additional minute.
4. Pour in the cream and stir well. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
5. Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the pan. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
