A delicious and hearty potato and apple mash that combines the softness of potatoes with the tartness of apples. Perfect as a side dish for meat dishes.

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 3/4 liter potatoes
- Water
- 2-3 tart apples
- 100 ml water
- 50 ml cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and rinse them. Cut into small cubes.
2. Boil the potato cubes in a pot of water until half tender.
3. Drain the cooking water and add 100 ml of water to the pot.
4. Peel and chop the apples, then add them to the pot with the potatoes.
5. Stir in the cream, butter, and salt.
6. Allow the mash to simmer gently until the potatoes are completely soft.
7. Serve the mash warm as a side dish with meat dishes.
