A delicious apple pie that's perfect for autumn. It's easy to make and tastes great warm or cold. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 4-5 apples- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 200 g butter
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 100 g sugar (for the crust)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the apples.2. In a bowl, mix the apple slices with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Let the mixture marinate for about 15 minutes.
3. For the dough: melt the butter and mix it with sugar, egg, flour, baking powder, and salt. Knead the dough until smooth.
4. Roll out the dough and place it in the bottom and sides of a pie dish.
5. Pour the apple mixture over the dough.
6. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 30-40 minutes, until the apple pie is beautifully golden brown.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
