Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., fusilli or penne)
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 100 ml grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain the pasta and save a little cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the crushed garlic and sauté for a few minutes.
3. Add fresh spinach to the pan and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Pour the cooking cream into the pan and mix well. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved cooking water.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
